Usually what I do is use Pixie to pick a color from an image (or logo) and then go to the color scheme site to create a color scheme to go with it. I also like to use other sites such as Kuler and Color Scheme Designer. Audacity is an open source audio editor. That’s easy to do with Audacity. FLV Player.

Audacity is an audio recording and editing application with a lot of the features you find in commercial products. The publisher provides a list of sites where you can download the application. I like this for uploading and downloading files to and from FTP sites. FLV Player. You can download the free FLV player at CNET.

And then I take that color information to a site like Color Schemer to create a color scheme. As I was searching previous posts to answer his question, I ran into a lot of the tools and sites that I’ve recommended in previous blog posts.
