Audacity is free, open source, and does everything I need for quick audio revisions. As I regularly speak at conferences and online events, I also use PowerPoint to create slides for those sessions. The Online Network of Independent Learning Professionals (ONILP) meets via Zoom twice a month. PowerPoint.

I’m a junky for all of the free stuff online. Audacity is an open source audio editor. That’s easy to do with Audacity. Click here for Audacity tutorials. I do most of my basic editing with it because it’s on my PC and does most of what I need for my online courses. If you want a new size, just change the number.

The ability to record audio in real time or post time makes a lot of sense and eliminates the need for using Audacity (albeit it is a wonderful and free product). There is something wrong when a free and open source product like Audacity can do it, yet a product that costs hundreds of dollars cannot. Share online recordings.
