Usually what I do is use Pixie to pick a color from an image (or logo) and then go to the color scheme site to create a color scheme to go with it. I also like to use other sites such as Kuler and Color Scheme Designer. Audacity is an open source audio editor. That’s easy to do with Audacity. How easy is that? Moviemaker.

Heck, where are the textbook sites? Audacity – It is a free, open-source audio tool. While I see Amazon Kindle on here, for ebooks I assume, there are plenty of folks who buy books (hardcover and softcover), so why isn’t Amazon itself on this list? Google Docs and Microsoft Word. Can match many you find in authoring tools.
