Mobile Learning. LMSs – Finally vendors took notice. Sadly though many still are in the dark on true mobile learning – i.e. not accessing their platform via a mobile web browser. Authoring Tools – With only a small sample of vendors that are SaaS based, pickings are slim. A win in my book.

That some vendors who provide a list of clients may not be clients of their LMS, rather they are current or past clients of custom course development. But did you know.

My latest take on those three vendors (plus one) are: Cornerstone On Demand – I have seen the new UI and I like what I saw. Q: We use WebEx as our web conferencing tool. The problem with the web conferencing tools that currently exist (as a whole) is that none of them are 100% perfect. Lots of potential. Waste of money.

It can be embed into your web site, added to your LMS, but to me the real awesomeness is the ability to add into any authoring tool. Can add your own audio or use one of their audio tracks – which surprisingly were not bad, actually quite a few were good. Learn a foreign language software.

Nice selection of vendors – in general. More vendors showing off their products then in the past – still a couple believe that a poster board will do the trick. Wi-Fi worked a lot better, but vendors and end users still had issues inside the expo hall. I heard this happen to two vendors.
