Library pulls in your video, audio, flash and image files right from your video,image, flash, audio folders on your computer – GREAT IDEA – although I wish they added HTML5. Audio recorder and adding audio. While you can go to your “library” and select the image and then move it onto the image it is replacing it – the easiness is not so simple – especially when you have the Revolver-1 element open. Problems with recording audio. Video goes in and out with the audio – They explain it has to do with the latest version of Flash, but how about coming up with an alternative. Library not visible on the screen – unless you add media/files, etc. Once you add slides or media, it goes to your Library – which is fine, but to add more you have to use the buttons. The following is available: Choose from Library. Record Live Audio/Video.

Leader board within “Connect” their social learning component – however, I did not see any type of incentive tied to it. Social Learning in general – can’t anyone come up with something fresh? E-commerce. Additional charge for “Connect” their social learning set, unless you purchase the Extended Enterprise Cloud (then it is included). Library. Resources – docs, video/audio files, podcasts, PPT, etc.

I especially love it when it happens in the e-learning industry. Innovators and Risk Takers – emerging technology integrated, new ideas, pushing the envelope in what is possible in e-learning/social learning/m-learning, coming up with something that has never been done before – risk takers. Back in the day, a punk rock group called Madness released a wonderful tune called, “ One Step Beyond “, sadily if you were to look at the state of the e-learning industry as a whole today, perhaps the song should have been called, “One Step Behind&#. A LMS that came with a e-commerce, a chat room, discussion boards, front end look that did not appear to a be a LMS, library, bookstore (capability), art gallery (I used it for sponsorship purposes).

Media Library upload is fast, but I’m running at 20Mbps for upload, the only time it was somewhat slow was when uploading a PDF file. Can create root folders in the media library. jpg,gif,png), audio file (.mp3), Limits audio files to.mp3. Library – location of files, files are viewable by icons, along with the file name and type. Those who are e-learning developers and instructional designers, and those folks who are not.

One of the irritants with RCATs and frankly many e-learning vendors in assessment and other groups, is that you have no idea what image format is acceptable, until you go into the select image function. Although after talking to several vendors, irritation seemed to be a part of their response to me. Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings. To me, many more LMS vendors than in the past, especially some newbies I’ve never seen attend the show. Expo vendor pick up in terms of leads and traffic.

With 2014 already in play, it is time for many LMS vendors to awaken by the trumpets playing the background – you might think it is Muzak, but no it’s trumpets. In 2014, I believe it will be the year of video for consumers in e-learning, specifically with content and as a one off on that – in the LMS. Some vendors already have this in place, the vast majority do not. . One vendor right off the bat is Unicorn Training. Another is Biz Library.
