As for personal and professional development, it truly amazes me how many vendors in the e-learning space as a whole, forget this type of training. The courses were 100% online, SCORM compliant, with video, audio – including recording your voice and comparing to the speaker. Audio/video/image editing – 51.4%.

So, when I went and checked out Saba Social, Saba’s new social learning platform, I had very low expectations. Saba Social is a very solid product, that despite a few hiccups and “huh&# moments, achieves what it sets out to do, provide a user friendly social experience. I was surprised. Impressions.

If you as the customer want to create your own API/Mashup or find one on the net and want to integrate it into your paid LMS, the vendor will charge you. I believe it is because many of the vendors do not want their customers to have such power. Why the extra fee for a vendor to integrate it into their system.
