I believe that you can expect some type of voice capability with the actors/avatars as in the ability to either lip synch with the characters via audio tool/recording tool in the product will show up more in 2013. One vendor already offers it in 2012, and knowing this industry – if something takes off and works, others will follow.

30% vendors offer at least one type of social media – from my latest LMS directory. Dozens of LMS vendors, had typos on their web pages, zero screens of the system, links that went nowhere and two kicked up my Firewall warning of possible privacy collection and one had a Trojan Horse (I use a hardcore firewall and A/V).

For example: your first PPT slide is on the timeline then you add a word document, next an image file, another slide (your 2nd one in the deck u uploaded), then audio/movie and so on. Even if you wanted to include the e-mail address on the opening page of the course, there are privacy concerns/issues at various companies.

If you are an e-learning vendor in the higher education space and doing or planning on doing business in Europe, this is the place to be. And yes, yes it was. – I liked that.

I found some of the suggested information (again, you do not have to enter anything) a tad too personal and really I see as a privacy issue. Who is the heck is ever going to put that in their profile, because I want to meet that person who cares little about privacy. E-Learning 24/7. But it gets better.

Screen capture, audio editing. Vendor adoption is slow. Privacy issues continue to plague Facebook. eBook publishing capability – I see this as a real winner by 2014, but right now only a couple of vendors are offering it within their RCAT, heck even LMS. HTML5 is the new “Green” Get it now.
