Bookmark feature is interesting, but with this one item – Saba’s past UI issues appear – too bad, it has an spin on the bookmark concept.epub file upload that worked, which is rarely seen in any file acceptance of other social learning systems and even the majority of e-learning solutions to begin with.

Audio Recording and Editing. The ability to record audio in real time or post time makes a lot of sense and eliminates the need for using Audacity (albeit it is a wonderful and free product). However, just placing the ability to record audio pre or post is not enough. Editing Audio. Audio conversion within the product.

. – Forget adding wikis or a profile page or some other nonsense that has been around for a few years, the one item that is a must for any holiday are learning communities. Screen capturing/recording with various audio/video tracks. One vendor is focused only on SaaS products including social media.

Most systems in the education space are still strongly focused on synchronous based learning. Thankfully there are systems that are starting to offer asynchronous as well (referring to systems that are not universal, rather education market only). Its a hybrid of a learning platform, learning exchange and social collaboration.

Read, share, print or send to mobile devices: ebooks, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations/slides, documents, images, audio/video – user generated. Expand it, so that e-books, documents, audio files can be viewed on e-book readers, if it is ePub (the most used format, and recognized with every e-reader, sans Kindle) it will work.

Yes, Blu-Ray boxes offer the net stream, HBO on the Go too, and NetFlix, but what I am referring to, is that you can see real time, and while you can argue that NetFlix is real time – it is pre-existing movies and shows, taped for download, not in the true sense of “real time&#. The lounge looked like a lounge.
