If there’s a beta program or new software application, I’m quick to sign up and play around with it. Audacity is an open source audio editor. I usually record my audio directly in the rapid elearning tools. However, if I have a larger project, then I like to break my production up into chunks and keep my audio separate.

They let you use keyboard key combinations instead of a mouse or program menu. Record audio. Import audio. Preview the project in a web browser (SWF). Find audio in the Library/Change text to Bold. Import video file. Show/hide the SWF-Commenting pane. Insert Flash video placeholder.
