Global social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter support various forms of communication and sharing actions that were previously unavailable. Being able to share content as text, hyperlinks, video, audio and images allows us to be more versatile in the way we assimilate and apply knowledge.

I had a PowerPoint developer ask to use one of the audio clips in my Captivate project in his PowerPoint presentation. Next, I right-clicked the audio clip and chose  Export.  Had the developer shared my network, I could have easily exported the file to a shared folder on a network drive and saved the email step.

(I One of these is the enduring question of how to use text and audio within e-learning, which prompted some debate and some interesting experiment results. This opened up the discussion about the relationship between text and audio. Text and audio can be used together, as long as they present the same information verbatim.
