I recently created a photo slideshow (using PowerPoint) of my dad’s life-sized chess set sculpture that’s at Facebook (Go Dad!). Insert a photo album to your presentation. Go to “Insert” → “Photo Album” → “New Photo Album”. Select the photos from your computer. Note: You can hold down Ctrl while clicking several photos to select them individually. She suggested using audio sparingly. When I see a need for a text heavy pages, I eliminate audio so as not to "depress learning." In the comments on Cathys post, there was a bit of discussion about switching back and forth between pages with and pages without audio.

The learner could listen to the audio if her preferred style was auditory, OR read the text if her preferred style was visual. This means that I learn best through my visual channel, next kinesthetic, with audio being my weakest channel. I always tune out the audio and read ahead.
