She gave an example of a course where you could watch 170+ slides, or you could watch the slides while listening to the audio of the instructor reading the 170+ slides. This is all stuff we’re already working on with PLS courses–nice to see that we’re on the right track. Her choice? Check Teaching Naked.

When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account. I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. Tagged either under Development Tools or Cloud.

I hope your follow-up articles will include recommendations of easy-to-use tools for valid and efficient testing, and tracking of tests/training in the absence of a full-blown LMS. I can’t trade less training time for employees for increased administration and tracking time for me and managers. Technorati. Social Web.

They used UStream for the audio, in addition to the typical phone line. Do you have version tracking for revisions? A: PBwiki has revision tracking built in; they don’t do any other backups on their own. Not something that is tracked much now. Q: Can you upload videos & audio? My comments are in italics.

Also, you run the risk of getting off topic quickly and not being able to get back on track. Last year, we held a webinar that consisted of a 15 minute conversation starter followed by opening the audio for people to speak freely and make comments or ask our facilitator any question they wanted. Open mic night anyone?
