One interesting result is that the audience for my eLearning 2.0 You learn about this using these tools and scanning sources like blogs, trying things out, forcing yourself to make time to learn. Prediction #1 => eLearning 2.0 - Increasing Pressure It's safe to predict that you'll be hearing more and more about eLearning 2.0 There will be increasing pressure on each of us to understand eLearning 2.0 for ourselves in order to apply it within our organizations ( eLearning 2.0 - An Immediate, Important Shift).

Saw a post by Matthew Franz - where he tells us - I don't get e-learning 2.0 - and it made me wonder if Franz is a training specialist - who's not looking at more than training as a model for learning. are fundamental workplace tools in the same way that other tools (office applications, web applications, the Internet etc.) are also tools, but think of the absurdity of making a big deal of Excel as an "e-learning 1.0 tool."

Future Platforms for eLearning

The recent article by Dion Hinchcliffe - Blogs, wikis, and Web 2.0 as the next application platform got me thinking again about what corporate eLearning development will be like in five years. I've seen the Content Authoring Research Report from the eLearningGuild that suggests what tools are being used in 2005 and it suggests that most content is being authored using fairly traditional tools such as Flash, PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Lectora.
