The majority of people creating the courses used authoring tools, such as Authorware (difficult to learn, but robust), Dazzler Max (I used it, learning curve though), Lectora (difficult to learn) and many others that existed then. Owned by SumTotal – who ruined it, because by then it was GeoLearning Maestro (not that great).

Every e-learning consulting/research firm, etc. On the Maestro side (formally GeoLearning), I don’t understand how they could have dropped the ball on the platform. Q: We use WebEx as our web conferencing tool. Q: I loved Authorware, but today I can’t find an authoring tool that can match it or even get close to it.
