These are good practices that help us grow our knowledge, but what we really need are mindful, disciplined processes for managing it on a daily basis. What we need is to exercise personal knowledge management, or PKM. PKM is distinct from organizational knowledge management, which is widely used today. Knowledge management systems only manage documents, or knowledge artifacts.

Evaluating concept worker performance is an interesting challenge: No right answer - Most often there is no single right answer. Which authoring tool, LMS, etc. Evaluator knowledge limit - In most cases, the person doing the performance evaluation knows less about the subject that the performer. I'm coming to believe this is the most important Knowledge Worker Skill Gap.
