I thought about this, as you can tell, and said to myself, okay, let’s write a post where the e-learning history and thus learning systems, authoring tools, and alike are intertwined with good and bad ideas. And yes, folks running Training and L&D would take that data via the evaluation, and compute numbers to track the trends (or they should have) and what worked and didn’t work, based on the data. The authoring tools, the popular ones, followed the similar methodology, of chapter, pages, lessons, assignments/practice, evaluation.

Learning Systems for 2018 (#25 to #16)

While I track now 1,300 learning systems around the world, the rankings are based on 1,000. When I was at LTUK a couple of weeks ago, a vendor who was giving a presentation, showed a slide with Learn.com on it, as though their tool worked with it or something like that, uh Learn.com hasn’t been around in like five plus years.
