I was just asked about trends in open source for eLearning and particularly open source eLearning tools. Probably one of the better sources on this is Jane Hart’s Instructional Tools Directory. In addition, she indicates if they are free or cost money – which is not quite the same thing as open source.

The platform has the easy to use “Job Aid” tool. Available to Admins or Authors in the platform, files can be uploaded or reused. That said, I know some other docs were uploaded by other authors. I found a document on Adobe Connect security and a biz comm module another author was developing. Wink, wink.).

UdutuTeach This application allows you to import courses from myUdutu (authoring tool). You can manage which learners can take your course and track the learners progress. In my opinion, we can not use Facebook as a Learning Management System but we can use Facebook as a tool that will enhance/support an e-Learning course.
