Authorware usage and fan base made Storyline supporters and usage look like a rock stage at a state fair. E-Learning developers – again, common term.

This saves a lot of time when customizing those items via previous Actions. Project > Variables list and use count: Now you can either get a full list of where a custom variable is being used, or feedback that it’s not being used at all. Side Note: Many of the newer features are reminiscent of Authorware.

Should I write how EdTech scored a huge F this past year, with their continued believe that synchronous based learning is effective? Should I write that the reason VR has not taken off is due to the reality that great VR content requires custom development which easily can run into the 100 of thousands of dollars?

He is the author of seven book including a best-seller on creating effective e-learning and in has received ASTD’s Distinguished Contribution to Workplace Learning and Performance Award in 2011. If ADDIE produces the products you want, does so comfortably, and works effectively with the constraints you work with, I’d stick with ADDIE.

Over the last five years, we’ve seen that change because of efficient and effective rapid authoring tools. It is far more cost-effective and quicker to convert content than to develop it from scratch, which requires effort that may be better spent on business-critical training. legacy tools/platforms (Authorware, Director, etc.)
