The longer your company has been in business, the more you’ve been creating training material, which has resulted in large libraries of content in various forms. Over the last five years, we’ve seen that change because of efficient and effective rapid authoring tools. Can they transform content effectively and at a reasonable cost?

The tool includes a library of cartoon characters which you can manipulate using different expressions and gestures for use in scenarios. Michael was, of course, the creator of Authorware, a highly powerful tool from the CD-ROM era, which Adobe eventually gave up on after they inherited it from Macromedia. That's a shame.

In the early days of e-learning course creation, you could either use your in-house instructional designer(s), self-teach yourself Authorware, DazzlerMax, and similar tools – or have your in-house ID person do it for you, outsource development to a 3rd party aka custom development for your proprietary course. No need, PPT is here!

Compared to building courses in Flash or Authorware, the rapid elearning tools are easy to use. His site is like having an instructional design library at your finger tips. I like it that I don’t have to know flash but can still get some of the same effects. Feel free to recommend other good books in the comments section.
