The next generation of authoring tools included a handful of really serious players, notably Authorware (now with Adobe) and Toolbook (now with SumTotal), both still going although not so strongly.

Anyone who used Authorware can attest to that. If you want to see if they are an expert, have them bring samples – they should have them online, for you to look at. Anyway, joy was not there, because it required double the work. Authoring tools were limited options and each one was not easy to just pick up and start building.

Over the next few weeks I intend to flesh out details of each of the following features with screen shots and samples. On the other hand if the developer does not agree that a change is required, or if he has a question about the feedback, he can type a note to that effect and send that information back to the tester.
