Hypercard and Authorware both launched in 1987, making it easy to create multi-media programs. Think Amazon, YouTube, and social media. The term, “click next,” became a punchline at industry events. The increase in mobile technology drove mLearning, just as social media drove informal learning.

Someone did the instructional design, someone else worked on graphics, and then we had a programmer who built the courses in Authorware or some other application. Will it replicate those craving for an Authorware return? Another wonderful authoring tool that adds the “social learning” component to it. Actions, properties, events. While beginners could jump in and start to create a course, I see it more as a product for instructional designers and some e-learning developers.

Listen, Authorware is dead, so why create a product that is trying to bring it back to life with your own product? Many companies ban access to social media sites, especially Facebook. . “rapid”, means you need it quickly – at least for some folks. Thus, ease of use is a strong requirement. Take me to the survey.
