Back when I first started developing e-learning courses, I used Macromedia's Authorware. For more interactive elements, I used Flash and imported the SWFs into Authorware. The learning interactions can be used for multiple types of quiz questions that will be tracked by a learning management system (LMS). If you are an Authorware fanatic missing the old days, you are still going to miss it – because while these capabilities are being added to tools they are still not at the level of Authorware. I don’t care if it is only three tracks and basic, include it. The magic 8 ball is a fun item to use.

Keeping Up - April's Big Question

This is in reference the immense and rapidly expanding technology tools. It is tough to stay on top of all the emerging tools. However, being involved in an e-learning community is a big help.
