Lectora Online. Both a cloud and Windows-based solution, Lectora is an eLearning authoring tool that works well for SCORM content. It’s a recommended solution for beginners wanting to optimize their content to be mobile-responsive as it has a drag and drop interface.

Terms such as Chapter-Page and so on, left the lexicon for the beginners, with terms such as Slide taking over. Beginners – Studio. Beginners – Studio. Advanced – Captivate and Lectora. Studio was still being used by anyone – beginners. Yes, there were some, but it was a tiny fraction.

I talked about this, in my newsletter, but for those who have yet to subscribe/had a chance to read it, there are vendors out there whose algorithm is flawed. SaaS authoring tool vendors continue to include analytical data as an option in their platform. Some Lectora Online. Thank you RCAT slide vendors. Negative Trend.

Long has tools such as Studio and Captivate been on the higher side, the same can be said for vendors such as Rapid Intake and dominKnow. Because other vendors are getting into the act as well. What is an equal frightening event is when authoring tool vendors do not even list their pricing on their page. So why the fear?

Bewildered on what is happening, why what is needed isn’t appearing as it should, and how is it possible that something so obvious based on where e-learning is heading, mobile is pushing and future tech is inspiring is lost among so many vendors? And therein lies one of the issues, that is showing up with many, many vendors.
