Take the time to create your own images if your budget allows, or really search through stock photo sites to find the best image.

Weird - after posting, I just saw a post in my blog reader from HeyJude - Find free images online - my list! EveryStockPhoto is a search engine for creative commons photos, located in Vancouver, BC. You can search for photos, see which photos are the most popular, and which ones have the highest ratings or the most downloads.
