Over 6 years ago I published a blog post explaining the importance of Events in the application. Less known are the actions that can be triggered when a Quiz is completed (Passed/Failed). In that older blog post I mentioned the Rollover slidelet which had two events: on Rollover, and on Click. Widget to extend events.

Maybe a blog, explaining why I am wondering about the use of Captivate for the creation of software tutorials, explaining the three possible workflows with growing level of interactivity can lead to some feedback anyway. I think about merging with 360 slides, real quiz slides, adding links to other assets etc.

The blog [link] concludes that somehow the other index files (multiscreen.html etc.) inherit the code to use flash as well. Secondly, when I upload the zip to our Moodle and use the build-in “learning package” option it only chooses the flash files. When i delete the.pdf,swf data from the zip, nothing will start.

One exception: embedded buttons on Quiz/Score slides cannot be shape buttons, so I use transparent buttons for those. The SVG, activated as button, has all the features of shape buttons: can be used on master slides, can be timed for the rest of the project (not in Fluid Boxes), can be added to quiz and score slides as extra button.
