Atleast in India, I guess most of us strictly follow Blooms Taxonomy and frame learning objectives. In video games, players often have the option of going to a screen to see the objectives, goals, and tasks for a ceratin level and that doesnt diminish the experience of the game, just like a link to objectives wouldnt diminish the learning.
