A surprisingly number of vendors who offer some form of social learning, whether it is the minimum – a FB like page, micro-blog, even some form of app sharing or collaborative tool, do not have any social media on their site. Now, why doesn’t a vendor mention this information to a potential client, at least the first point – I can understand holding off on the second point, for selling purposes. In my experience, small businesses (500 or less users) are the ideal audience for a low cost system. This does not mean that anyone who has more than 5,000 users should be a system in the low cost mode, but rather these systems are definitely suited to this business size. These are folks who are going to use your system.
