The reason behind it was simply that so many vendors pitch they are NexGen (often referring to it as Next Generation), when in fact, they are not. Thus, in the best example I can give, Toolwire (an LEP) has an arrangement with Boston University School of Business. Evernote would be another example. . Netscape anyone? .
