I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Made specifically for business. The product is Flash based, which is nice, but lack of mobile optimization for the iPad. Social Learning is limited. My runner-up is Operitel’s LearnFlex LSP. These standout to me. Categories. Reporting, is solid.

Situated learning (learning within context in a community of practice) grows thanks to augmented mobile reality. Virtual classrooms and smart-boards are used in a more student-centered way (not putting all the attention to one person up-front=bad). Investment in mobile learning will significantly increase.
