xAPI’s Tipping Point for Both Community & Industry

MakingBetter

Since last year, I worked with IEEE to standardize the Experience API (xAPI) specification. Most of my work is with the IEEE-LTSC but recently a few other IEEE standards groups expressed interest in using xAPI. Meanwhile different needs among xAPI adopters in the learning technology business are becoming clearer. Organizations interested in counting on xAPI for their business needs must have a way to know the tools work.

Q&A - eLearning Standards Especially SCORM

Tony Karrer

There are a bunch of other standards by ADL (who is responsible for SCORM ), IMS , IEEE LTSC including CORDRAâ„¢ , LOM , Meta-data , etc. Note: ARIADNE, AICC, IEEE LTSC, and IMS all participate in ADL's work on SCORM). Now that I posted about Better Questions for Learning Professionals , I've been receiving questions via email from a variety of people. That's great! I like getting interesting questions. Some of them I just respond with an email.
