Instead of recording hour-long lectures at the podium, encourage faculty to create shorter video lessons (around 10 minutes each, or less, according to a study from MIT and University of Rochester ) for quality online courses. Simply assigning PowerPoints, textbook reading, or other written lessons just isn’t enough.
