Instead of recording hour-long lectures at the podium, encourage faculty to create shorter video lessons (around 10 minutes each, or less, according to a study from MIT and University of Rochester ) for quality online courses. Faculty can also do survey/polls after each video lesson to see how many students grasp a specific concept.
