Maybe you purchased it via Open Sesame, or Skillsoft. This isn’t the fault of Open S, rather it is just well, a reality of the business. Skillsoft – The behemoth of the courses/content space. Skillsoft I find is very flexible in this regard (as a whole). Course rating: B+. Frankly they are massive.

Course standards include xAPI and PENS, besides the standards of SCORM. . No, but then again, this is an issue with many course providers including Lynda.com and Skillsoft. . As noted earlier, I see this with a lot course providers (and aggregators) including Lynda.com, Skillsoft and even the MOOC freebies via Coursera (for example).

Ditto when you buy a system that is SCORM 1.2 The UI/UX are nice, the system fully integrates with every Microsoft offering in Microsoft 365 that is relevant for most business users. I’m not a fan of the size caps when it comes to SCORM files – it makes no sense, nor the limit of bulk upload per number of entries.

There are few and I mean only a few who follow this pattern (example: Skillsoft), where the course library is the primary and the system secondary. If you just want the LMS, then the best fit IMO is SMB (Small to mid-size business). SumTotal by Skillsoft. But with Biz this isn’t the case. The LMS is solid. ELEARNINGFORCE.
