Quiz less responsive to clicking since change from SWF to HTML5.

Adobe Captivate

I have a Captivate course that ran well, until I had to switch from SWF to HTML5. Then it became slow (which was resolved by switching from Scorm to TinCan) and the quiz has become very awkward … you click on a multiple choice answer and it doesn’t show your choice as being selected. Any ideas on what I can do to make the quiz more responsive to being clicked? I didn’t have this issue in SWF. first time post from a very non techie person!

However the events for the hotspots in a VR project or 360 image/video are more limited as are the overlay Quiz slides in a VR project. Publishing a responsive project to Moodle (Html only)

When i delete the.pdf, swf data from the zip, nothing will start. So far the only option I found to use captivate on moodle together with LMS is ths learning package. Right now my only concern is to somehow get it to work and I’m not sure if the problem is on the captivate side or the moodle side. Also, there is a QUIZ button which wont’t work and look like they are greyed out. Hi everyone and a good day to you!

Here’s attempt number two… Our team shares a cptx file that we use as a course “template” – it’s not a Captivate template file type, however. Historically, we’ve published as SWF, but are moving to HTML5 only very soon (not that this is super relevant to the question – just trying to paint the picture of what we do). Interactivity in Software Tutorials?

Adobe Captivate

Whenever a comparison of eLearning authoring tools is published, Captivate still is considered to be the best tool for creation of software tutorials. That has been indeed the primary goal when Captivate was released many years ago. Maybe a blog, explaining why I am wondering about the use of Captivate for the creation of software tutorials, explaining the three possible workflows with growing level of interactivity can lead to some feedback anyway. The SVG, activated as button, has all the features of shape buttons: can be used on master slides, can be timed for the rest of the project (not in Fluid Boxes), can be added to quiz and score slides as extra button. The other Preview methods are all still based on a temporary SWF output (except Play Slide, which is NOT a preview method). Intro.
