Using simple social software to create a network of practice or a community of practice. The CLO will need to become the Chief Organizational Architecture. If your culture doesn’t work that way, you need to change your culture. The kids learn from the elders, the elders learn from the kids. These need to co-mingle.

Clark Quinn and I found that less than 40 percent of CLOs are involved in corporate decisions about communities of practice, social networks, content repositories, wikis and Internet access.
