Easygenerator is an e-Learning authoring tool for people with no e-Learning background. At Easygenerator we are building in didactical support for our authors. I will explain in this post. We also know that an expert without a didactical background will very often not create the most effective e-Learning. Didactical principles.

It changes the role of the learning department (from directive to facilitate), it changes the role of the instructional designer (from creator to coach) and it will change the way companies are using their ‘old school’ LMS, I believe they will vanish. At Easygenerator, we are moving companies in this direction every day.

Guiding and coaching the subject matter experts leads to more effective and didactically sound learning material.

At Easygenerator we try to address that issue in a couple of ways. We are developing an online coach. This way there is an online coach helping through the complete process. On top of that, authors can work together within Easygenerator to create a course. SMEs cannot make decent e-Learning material by themselves.
