The only real gain for survey tools – specifically polling – is the mobile real time polling option, but even then, it is starting to slide into some learning platforms. That said, if I was looking to enter the e-learning space, I wouldn’t choose the standalone survey, assessment or combination of the two market.

Mobile Learning. Incorporation from the standpoint of smart phones but with limited features – ala see it as a collaborative learning tool, social learning angle. Vendors who offer mobile learning solutions, need to identify what types of Blackberrys can be used (all?), The small size vendors.

As for personal and professional development, it truly amazes me how many vendors in the e-learning space as a whole, forget this type of training. To me this is a very important question because it goes beyond, “what is nice” to what is “necessary” Mobile Learning – 68.5%.
