I see this kind of activity falling into the Public Affairs portfolio, as it concerns brand management. But of course, tweet scanning also falls into the Customer Service portfolio. Another term for showing your work is “working out loud,” which has become a popular way to enhance creativity and build strong communities of practice. There’s even a dedicated week to celebrate working out loud as well as numerous blogs, books and online communities dedicated to the subject.

Ideas range from games based learning , to the use of social media and networking, to simpler approaches such as the use of digital cameras in art or data logging in science. I’m interested in seeing a portfolio of work that represents their technical skills as well as their instructional design skills.
