Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be the first real challenger to the iPad, it runs on Android OS, offers Flash 10.1 Again, the iPad runs with HTML5, not Flash nor Java. True, the other tablets and Samsung offer Flash 10.1 and Java, but they offer HTML5 too. Same issue occurred with Opera – used Flash and Java.

Majority of employees access a LMS or Learning Portal out of the workplace. True, smartphones are here to stay, and they are wonderful for a lot of amazing things, but from a true m-learning standpoint, I just do not see the engaging interactive value here, in comparison to other mobile devices. There are exceptions.

I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. I like this system and its functionality in comparison to the other players in this space. That said, across the board for all Big Dog systems, their social learning functionality was weak. Social Learning is limited. These standout to me. Categories.

Investment in mobile learning will significantly increase. Mobile learning sub-disciplines will begin to emerge. Mobile learning development for tablets will become one of these sub-disciplines. Flash will still have an impact (at least in the area of mobile learning).
