BTW, always presented this statement with reference to sales teams. LMSs are more about compliance and regulatory and not about remediation. As for the point that LMSs are focused on compliance and regulatory – that is 100% not true. Also find out if they are certified with Safe Harbor. Let them eat cake.

Safe Harbor Statements - Clearly mark pages that are controlled and approved vs. those that are not. Control over Quality of Information - See above Strict Control Over Policies – Accuracy - See above Liability / Discoverability / Compliance - Absolutely the contents of your Wiki, Blogs, etc. Then to the help desk.
