If there’s a beta program or new software application, I’m quick to sign up and play around with it. I use it all the time to pull colors from images when I work in PowerPoint. Format Factory lets you convert media from one format to another. On a side note, if you are looking for an FLV editor, you might try the RichFLV editor.

There are a lot of cool things you can do in PowerPoint as a simple graphics program. While you could quickly convert the SME’s ppt to the sample course, I think that the overall efficiency for the organization wouldn’t be as great, especially if the info is something people need to access more than once.

does not work with a 64 bit Windows OS that has/and you using PowerPoint 2010 – since Snap! does work with 64 bit and PowerPoint 2007 or below, because I have PowerPoint 2010 and a Windows 64 bit computer. Unless you have used a product like Photoshop or other programs that have layers, etc. What was it?

Articulate storyline is a desktop application that looks and feels like PowerPoint. If you know your way around PowerPoint, you are going to feel comfortable using Storyline. For example, when you want to insert a shape on your slide, you will see a drop down library of shapes similar to what you will find in PowerPoint.
