Many of you have to convert old Flash courses to HTML5. Here are a couple of simple ways to copy the text from old Flash e-learning courses that you can add to updated HTML5 e-learning courses without having to retype everything. Use OneNote to Convert Text from Image for Flash to HTML5 Courses.

What you’ll do is convert the SVG image into an object that can be edited in PowerPoint. The newest version of PowerPoint has a “Convert to Shape” feature. In the format toolbar (or via right-click) select Convert to Shape. In the format toolbar (or via right-click) select Convert to Shape.

A free solution is the Puffin app. It’s great for quick hit, just-in-time learning. We use it for our product tutorials and PowerPoint tips. What I like about Screenr for mobile learning is that it’s easy to use. Then you’ll need to convert it to a format that plays on the iPad. So you need to plan for that.

If you can’t find the silhouette’s that you want, why not take a different clip art image and convert it to a silhouette image? In fact, I did this demo in Paint.net which is a free download. Download Some Free Ones. I’m always amazed at the free resources available online. It’s easy to do. Find your clip art. Ungroup it.
