You can find a long list of tools broken into authoring tools, games/simulations, quiz/test tools, social media, delivery platforms, tracking and whether they support mobile. Beyond that, probably the best thing to do is to use eLearning Learning to go through it’s open source eLearning and open source eLearning Tools.

One interesting result is that the audience for my eLearning 2.0 Social Bookmarking and Wikis and Blogs are a form of social networking I never said this, but several people pointed it out in the chat. The same thing can be true with social bookmarking, wikis, flickr, etc. Using social bookmarking or meme tracking works okay. In most corporate environments, you won't find people making bad kinds of changes to most content.

I've read a bit from ( here , here , and here ) about Jet Blue's use of web 2.0 / social media tools to communicate between their staff of learning professionals. This is another great example of eLearning 2.0. The Awareness platform includes tools such as blogs, wikis and social bookmarking / tagging.
