Tony Karrer

There are some neat learning opportunities that can be created in Second Life such as a virtual visit to a NASA museum complete with videos, presentations, a rocket-ride around the solar system. But, it's not really sales, customer service, etc.

The Pulse of Mobile Learning

Allison Rossett

Of course, the elearningguild’s mobile learning conferences are a great place to launch. Yapp makes it easy to create an event app, no fuss, no bother. Committed to performance improvement for instructors, customer service reps, drivers, auditors, engineers, and first line supervisors? A faint pulse today. Most of what is said and written about mobile learning and support touts potential and points to the future.

Looking Back at 2007

Tony Karrer

I've basically limited myself to eLearningGuild and ASTD conferences. I've been doing a lot of work on custom content delivery and even more on the implications of Web 2.0 Why am I not finding more opportunities to create front-end tools? More complex solutions look like marriage matching (eHarmony), action planning solutions (large retailer), marketing support tools (large financial services). In December 2006, I posted my challenges and predictions for 2007.
