Primarily it is a PowerPoint to Flash conversion tool with additional features for eLearning development such as narration recording , quiz assessments , and LMS publishing. Every presentation created with Snap can be exported to a Lectora Project file (.awt). Quizzes and surveys created in Lectora cannot be exported to Snap.

Flash files can be viewed on browsers using a Flash Player. So what went wrong with Flash? First and foremost, Flash was created for the PC era. Given that Flash was created for the PC, the use of Flash was limiting the iOS experience. In fact, Flash player was seen to cause crashes with MACs.

I consulted for a company that serviced non-profits. One of their Flash programmers built a player that could dynamically load content. Back then I even used a hidden notes panel to create a simple learning management system where a person searched their name and the courses they need to take showed up in the menu.
