Every e-learning consulting/research firm, etc. My latest take on those three vendors (plus one) are: Cornerstone On Demand – I have seen the new UI and I like what I saw. This will become one of the biggest features in 2012 – especially with people wanting to create simulations without being an e-learning developer. Assessment/Survey/Polls – If your product doesn’t have it – you need it. I hope it does – especially with SaaS products. The Playbook is a dud, don’t make your product one too.

What I found was an extensive group of people hungry for anything e-learning. Hungry to learn as much as they could and hungry to see what was in the space. My sense of it all, was that regardless of the location the buzz is all e-learning. I wasn’t surprised on the e-learning excitement. When people think authoring tools, three products typically come to mind. It is easy to use and once you learn it, easy to push out content.

It is interesting to note, that many of the vendors are targeting the SMB space, especially the small size (less than 500 employees) market.
