While it offers some customizations, in general it typically lists. Admin side – simple to find sections, easy drill down.

This was my third TK in a row to attend, and as usual it contained some WOW on the part of some products, some “huh” on others and even a few “boos” Overall Expo Analysis. Nice selection of vendors – in general. Significant increase in custom development shops – the most I have seen ever at TK12.

What’s the best way to add components to your product? In the past it was build it yourself (pricey) or find open source and customize it (could be pricey, but cheaper then complete build). The partner approach works this way: vendor A integrates Vendor B’s solution into their product.

Speaking of holding in a pattern, here is a list of vendors – SaaS and desktop who output to HTML5 (please note: that this does not include authoring tool vendors whose product can be seen on a tablet, including the iPad – which is achieved thorough a web browser). iSpring Pro but it only converts PPT to HTML5.

This will become one of the biggest features in 2012 – especially with people wanting to create simulations without being an e-learning developer. Assessment/Survey/Polls – If your product doesn’t have it – you need it. I hope it does – especially with SaaS products. It isn’t.
