Product: Raptivity. Raptivity is an interaction tool. The solution I looked at was their base, Raptivity Essentials and it comes with a “select pack&# called “Zest&# , which for some reason on their pricing is shown as a separate option. To start Raptivity, you click on the shortcut on your desktop.

It is as if someone finally turned on the light bulb and said to themselves, “Sheesh, why should we give Raptivity the entire market for interactivity templates.” Well some vendors have more than 15 come with their product. Nowadays I am seeing vendors offer 15, 17, 25 and even 30 templates. Others have at least 10.

Here is how it works – the basics that is: Reports run against the real-time transactional DB (each customer has their own DB instance). Custom courses (created by the end user) are uploaded, tested and on-going updates (especially with the 3rd party content). One package the support is 8 to 5, M-F and e-mail support.

What I like about conferences is the ability to see the latest products and hear the pitches from the vendors. Demonstrations are crucial, whether it is a 30 minute one, with an audience or one on one, with a potential customer. Yet, for all that do it, their are equal number of vendors who do not. Not so much, from what I saw – some of the tools were underwhelming (granted some were quite impressive), but rather how the vendors themselves perceived where the market is going and what customers want in their authoring tools. Simply put, one vendor has over 200 Flash-based templates in their product.

Can create custom themes within the system, all the way down to the color of the mouse click “hover&#. E-Commerce and accepts multi-currencies. It should be noted that “custom themes/branding&# is not available in their “Starter&# package. Easy to use Front End. Reporting including the ability to do ad-hoc.
