One channel partner/customer (which might be a company – often seen with TP) is a child. B2C – Business to Customer. Custom tenants – each can have its own look, branding. I have some concerns about how SAP will play with them (right now they are separate, but who knows). E-Learning 24/7.

There are those who provide the first year free of customer service/tech support. Speed tends to be quicker – hearing from their customers and making improvements based on that feedback. Customer service can be personalized and turnaround time is fast. Very poor customer service and support. M-Learning.

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. LMS vendors who are moving into the Talent Management Space. SAP SAAS bombed. Your potential customers are yelling it. E-Learning 24/7. Tablets there.tablets there.tablets everywhere.

They involved talent management, “hello and goodbye” with vendors, social learning, upswing in mobile learning, new feature sets in the authoring tool space, flat lining in web conferencing and standalone platforms. LMSs/LCMS/CMS/learning platforms in commercial and open space continued their presence.

Anyway, not sure how that played out when they had some clients who moved from Absorb to SmartLab and then ended up going back to Absorb – not an ideal customer service move IMO. Specifically: No SSO between SF and SAP. A little late to the game for some features that others already had in play.
