There were about 7 examples mentioned including Intuit using a Wiki-like system for customers to ask questions/get advice around taxes, using a group blog with students prior to a formal learning event, the US Army's use of collaboration tools to share best practices in Iraq, and several others. Still, this is a somewhat uphill battle.

In working with our customers, we discovered that they were trying to address a number of learning requirements, most notably formal learning, informal learning and performance support. Our collaboration capabilities, which include polls, discussion forums, comments, and ratings, take advantage of emergent Enterprise 2.0
